• I imported my 120+ entries from MT as the instructions say on this site and realized that I have no archives dirctory. I would click on archives and the link gives me http://www.fishlimbs.com/archives/2004/08/27/ but that directory does not exist. Thats a new post by the way that I made with wordpress. Is there anyway I can generate the archives?

    I checked my database and all my entries are in the database. Just no archive html files or whatever WP makes them

    WordPress does not create archive files. It just generates the page from the database when required.
    Have you created a .htaccess file following the directions?
    Enabling Permalinks in the options is alone no sufficient, you have to manually add the rewrite rules to the .htaccess file.

    You’ve obviously got it to work. Changes in the permalink structure?

    Yup, it was the .htaccess file. Apache wasnt observing the file. A simple change in httpd.conf fixed the problem
