Important Permalinks Question (3 posts)

    Okay, I've been to many blogs, and they all have a "link to this post" or "permalink" link below each of their posts next you know next to where it displays the number of comments, so that other bloggers can link to that post.

    Does anyone know how do I get permalinks to appear beneath each of my posts?

    Look at your index.php or perhaps your single.php. Look for "the_permalink()". It's a rare page that doesn't already have permalinks somewhere.

    Anyway, the basic code you'll need is this:
    <a href="<?php the_permalink();?>">Permalink</a>

    Place that inside your Loop and you'll get a link to the post.

    FYI: every post title in WP is a permalink. Or the permalink?
