   Hi all,

   I'm fairly new to WordPress, but not technology shy :). I have a question that I'm hoping someone can answer:

   I have a file exported from WordPress single-user and would like to import this file into MU. I'm using subfolders, so I want the import to look like: http://mycoremuinstall/myimported-subdomain-blog...

   Is there an easy way to do this? I've read some stuff about changing the table prefixes from wp_ to wp#_ in the SQL file but not sure if this is a tried and tested method. Any help would be much appreciated!

   Install wordpress in mycoremuinstall

   Turn on Multisite as a subfolder install.

   Create a new site called myimported-subdomain

   Import the file.

   Beer.
