    hi liberius,

Generally, from lower version to higher WP version is not a problem. The opposite, however, is a problem and might result loss of data – we show a warning if you export from v3.9 and import to v3.8.

Let me know if you run into any issues. Make sure to backup the sites using the plugin first just to be safe.

    Thanks, Yani.

Just to confirm: your plugin only includes database, themes and plugins in the zip archive? Not the core WP files?

When a new install has a migration imported the config.php needs to be updated?

    Hi, liberius,

from my experience I know that nothing needs to be done, the plugin does everything himself. You press only the export and then import.

    Hi liberius,

Yes, that’s correct, the plugin will move only plugins themes database and media files. It doesn’t touch any of the core files or wp-config.php file.
