import subscribers via email csv

    I am switching my blog from Quick Blogcast to WordPress. I exported all of my subscribers to a CSV excel document. However, all that can export from quick blogcast are the email addresses from the subscribers. I have found ways to import subscribers, but those all require usernames/passwords, and I do not have that information. Is it even possible to subscribe people from email addresses alone? Please help!

    I decided to use Webfish’s Email Subscription plugin. As far as I can tell this doesn’t “register” the subscribers to WordPress, but it is an easy way to send out email notifications to subscribers

    I believe the email to notify them of the change and then they create a fresh register with your new WordPress site is a good solution. You can setup a subscription merge when they register to build your subscribers list.
