Import SQL file

Hi folks,

I’ve just set up WordPress, and I’m trying to import a large .sql file of posts, and basically I’m at a loss on how to do it.
The import section on the control panel lists how to deal with imports from other blog systems, but not how to straight import a .sql file.

Any suggestions ?
