i originally had wordpress remotely hosted, now i have it on my own hosting account.
instead of moving all of the files though from the old to the new i installed wordpress again.
so my question is how would i go about importing all of my posts onto my new installed version of wordpress.
i hope i am making sense.
    thanks

So you have a new installation of WP and you want to import all of the posts from an existing WP installation? I if you have access to the previous database, I would do as suggested by Viper above. See the Codex for instructions. If you don't have access to the previous database, or if you want to add posts into an already-existing database, use the Import - RSS in the Dashboard. Worked like a champ for me.

I want to move some posts from a wordpress installation to another. the problem is the target one is not empty, so I need to change post, comments, category IDs and make all coerent.
Is it possible? How can I do it?
RSS doesn't contain comments, and I think they're limited to a short number of posts. I am wrong?
