This question may have been answered elsewhere but I can't find it so: how do you import links from an old WP blog to a new WP blog?

I have no idea how to find the OPML link to do this!

Normally I'd suggest the RSS import. However, if you can install this plugin on both blogs...

Thanks for getting back to me! It seems like this plugin imports everything from the old WP site though, and all I want to import is the links, not the entries etc.

heh. my reading comprehension just sucks some days. Sorry 'bout that.

Are you comfy with phpMyAdmin? Might just export the links table from the old and import it to the other.

This is how I did it. A friend told me about this.

    1. Go to http://www.yourname.com/blog/wp-links-opml.php
    2. When you press Enter, you will get an XML file of your links.
    3. Do a Save Page As and save that page as an XML file. Call it blogroll.opml
    4. Go to the Blogroll section of WordPress and click on Import Links.
Select the blogroll.opml file and click on the button Import OPML
    File.
    5. I just tried this with mine and it worked like a charm.

    Hope this helps!
