Thanks for pointing out the obvious difference. If you look at the site, it sure looks to be associated. It’s running WordPress software. Matt and some other wordpress people have blogs there. This is pretty confusing.
From what I’ve seen on other posts, there’s a Contact Us link somewhere. I don’t see it on the main page, so it might be in the admin area somewhere.

wordpress.com will eventually have the one click blogger importer being developed for WP 1.6.

Thanks Ryan. Any idea how soon this will be? Just for clarification, is this the right place to ask questions about wordpress.com? The link at the bottom of the admin panel points here.
You can use the feedback tab in the admin panel of your wp.com blog. Also, you can try the WPMU forums. Since wp.com runs WPMU those forums are probably more appropriate.
I’ll talk to Matt about making wp.com resources clearer. It’s still being born, so bear with…
