   I've been trying to import some fairly big sites from standalone into wordpress multisite. I've done this lot of times before but this time I can't seem to get post thumbs to import.

   This is the tutorial I followed http://iandunn.name/comprehensive-wordpress-multisite-migrations/

   The issue is everything works fine but post thumbs don't get imported right size, only the large files are shown in post thumb photo.

   When I click on the Image to set correct size I see this http://designoptimizers.com/tools/images/images/clipbozwz.jpg

   Any new post that I add into the system works fine without any issue.

   Any idea what it could be ? driving me crazy!

   Maybe try to regenarate the post thumbnails with a plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

   But do this only after a full backup (database and image folder)

   Or start new and import your sites this way: http://codex.wordpress.org/Migrating_Multiple_Blogs_into_WordPress_3.0_Multisite

   I didn't change the theme Nor Did regeneration work. I see what is in screenshot no size at all mentioned of all images.

   I ended up buying buddypress which has multisite import and did everything in 30 min.

   Would high recommend it.
