Import from Textpattern 4.0.3 to WordPress 3.0

    Hi All,

    I would like to convert a site of mine from TextPattern to WordPress. I’ve found the following outdated links:

    I am wondering if someone has done this with WP 3.0. I would prefer not to screw this up. My site is at http://sterneworks.org if you want to take a look.

    –> I am not importing the txp database into an existing WP blog; rather, I want to replace txp with WordPress as my CMS for this site.

    –> I imagine I could do this manually with copy and paste but there would be a load of formatting to do. Or maybe I’m just screwed?

    I did a search but there are no threads on 3.0 and importing from Textpattern that I can find.

    Hi,

    For some reason this just showed up in my rss. I wound up doing a manual copy and paste. It was a bit of a hassle stripping out textpattern codes in some cases, setting up image links, etc., but the end result is great. I highly recommend it.
