   I have installed WP 2.6.3 on my own domain, and now I'm trying to import my old blog (http://antanova.blogspot.com) into it. I have changed the blog to 'new blogger' and am using one of Blogger's own templates.

   What happens is this:

   1. From within WordPress, in manage -> import -> Blogger, I click 'Authorize'.

   2. I grant access from my Google account

   3. I click the 'Import' magic button.

   4. The post and comment counts show 1 post and comment imported, and the magic button changes to 'Set Authors'.

   And then nothing else happens. If I click 'Set Authors', and set and author, I come back to this screen where nothing is happening. If I leave this screen alone, nothing happens. I've restarted several times, and nothing's happened.

   Can anyone shed any light on this?

   Oh, and I must add that even though the counters are showing one post imported, there are no extra posts showing in WP.

   That's exactly my problem. I used to host with dreamhost and i imported a blog successfully then I changed my host. Now I cant import my blog at all and have the exact same problem described above. I hope someone can help!!

   Well, I don't have the problem any more, but it's more because of working around it than solving anything mentioned above.

   I signed up for a WordPress.com account, created a blog there and used the same import tool from that account to import from Blogger. Then I exported from that account as a WordPress XML file, importing that successfully into my blog on my own domain.

   Wabsnasm- having the same problems. I tried importing in to a WordPress.com account but Blogger wouldn't let it access it.

   Anybody else have any ideas?
