Import error

When i try to upload, I am getting the following error: Unable to create directory /var/www/vhosts/playersarena.com/httpdocs/Blog-Wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2008/02. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

I have tried to upload wordpress posts after splitting as an .xml and then as a .rss feed.
