   I want to replicate my blog on my localhost running Apache. On my own Macbook Pro.

   So I export XML from WP 3.2.1. Download the file.

   When I run import, it takes less than a second in the modal popup window to show me this:

   An Unexpected HTTP Error occurred during the API request.

   Googling for it brings up much older posts that suggest I change the timeout in "class-http.php". I made this tweak.

   Nothing. Same error still.

   Any other ideas?
