    I’ve succeeded in installing wordpress, but my attempt to import my current blog from typepad is not working. It gives me this text: “The uploaded file could not be moved to .”

    the scenario that the wordpress directions give is not at all what I’m getting.
    Help, please?

    I need to elaborate I guess..
    The WP directions tell me to change some code in the mt import file. The code they say to look for in line 2 does not exist, therefor I cannot change anything.

    disregard. I think I got it now (changing permissions temporarily)
