   Hey guys, I'm having a huge problem here.

   Someone might have submitted my blog to some website or something and I'm getting about 1,000 spam comments on my posts every single day.

   I've set it so that each comment needs to be moderated before it is approved, but then I can't go through thousands of comments and pick that one single comment out and accept it.

   Is there any way to restrict these bots from spamming up my blog? And no, setting the comments settings so that only registered users can comment isn't really a solution I'm looking for.

   I think mine is coming through the contact form??
   It generate mails with "wordpress" as subject.
   I have received over 30 mails today

   both of you need to install the 2 plugins
   activate akismet also if not activated
