   Is there any way you can change the default url in the img insert box when making a post?
   For instance - it defaults to http:// but I would like to make it default to http://www.mysite.com/my-images mainly because I rarely link to another site for images and it becomes tedious typing in the address each time.
   Lazy - I know, I know - but if I can make life easier - I will every time!

   Edit the very last set in quicktags.js (in wp-admin)

   Thanks podz...that was simple - once you know how :)
   One other thing while I am on this topic:
   I initially linked to photos using the internal my-images/myimage.jpg method but I 'think' I am better to use the whole url as mentioned above - is this right?

   yup - else an archive will look locally, and mod_rewrite won't find it, so using the whole url is the way to go :)
