images show up as blank box with red X

    I have been experiencing for the last couple of days, when I upload an image it shows up as a blank box with red x in it. It happens with any images, even images that I have uploaded in the past. Please keep in mind that I am technical challenge so please explain to me in a NON technical language. Thank you in advance!

    The red X typically means that the image can’t be found by your browser, which usually means that it’s not looking in the right place.

    At what point did your images stop working for you? Do you remember making any kind of change (even something like updating a plugin) just before your images started working?

    If you provide a link to your website, that would help in the troubleshooting of why the images aren’t showing up.

    No, I made no changes to the images. In fact I tried to upload a picture that I had upload in the past to my site and I get the same respond. I have not uploaded any new plugins in the last 4 or 5 months. I had updated my blog April 20th with no problems but when I went to update a few days ago is when I discovered the problem with the images.

    I have tried different browser and I still have the same problem.
