   Hi,

   How can disable the attachment page? I don't want the images I'm showing on my blog to link to this attachment page. I'd prefer that they either have no link at all or to link to the single post view.

   I'm using the Blank theme (http://digwp.com/2010/02/blank-wordpress-theme/)

   When you upload an image, you have the option to link to the file attachment or none. This is located in the pop up box which appears when you upload a file, it's the same box that allows you to change the title and choose the alignment.

   Just make sure you select none for the link.

   Is there a way to make "none" aka no link at all the default?

   The pop up remembers your last choice, so once you've selected none it should be selected next time.
