Images not showing up sometimes

If I am in edit mode all docs and images show up fine or if I go back and use the older posts arrow they show up but if I view or use the search function to view the post some images show up and others are a url, example of one below:

When I click on these the image still doesn’t show up.
I am using WP 2010 and have the latest version installed.

I have deactivated these plugins: Fancybox for WP, and Lightbox 2 and Smush it but this made no difference.

Any help much appreciated but please if it is too technical I won’t have a clue so if you could keep it simple as I only have a very basic understanding of code etc
