    Hi,

I have been tinkering for the first time with a multisite installation fir the past 2 months now, and I don't have a whole lot of experience with WordPress... I use a subfolder installation.

The last thing I need to fix is my images. They show up in my main blog, but not in my subfolder. I tried tons of stuff I found on this forum. And unfortunately, my hosting company cannot change my httpd conf.

    Here is my htaccess:

    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /blogue/
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]

    # uploaded files
    RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?files/(.+) wp-includes/ms-files.php?file=$2 [L]

    # add a trailing slash to /wp-admin
    RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?wp-admin$ $1wp-admin/ [R=301,L]

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f [OR]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d
    RewriteRule ^ - [L]
    RewriteRule ^[_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/(wp-(content|admin|includes).*) $1 [L]
    RewriteRule ^[_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/(.*\.php)$ $1 [L]
    RewriteRule . index.php [L]

And I also have a htaccess in my blogs.dir folder:
    AllowOverride All

I figured it had something to do with my site settings, so could someone tell me what I should find for these values:
    Upload Path
    Upload Url Path
    Fileupload Url

Thank you, any help will be much appreciated!

  2. And unfortunately, my hosting company cannot change my httpd conf.

Can they confirm id AllowOverride is set to have ALL in your httpd.conf? If not, it'll never work :/

    Hello,

I did get confirmation that it is set to ALL. So are my settings ok? What should I input as values in these settings for my sites?
    Upload Path
    Upload Url Path
    Fileupload Url

    Thank you!

  4. Leave those settings alone :)

What displays on your sub-sites? Nothing? AN error? What?

    Hi,
You can see an example here of what is not working:
    http://cartamagica.com/blogue/en/blog/

The image shows up fin in the admin, and when you clock on the thumbnail, but not in the page...

I have to say the images show up fine in the main site, I am having problems only in the subsite.

  6. That's a TimThumb error.

If you try to open that image in a new tab, you'd have seen this: http://cartamagica.com/blogue/en/wp-content/themes/BLAKESLEY_2.2/theme/classes/timthumb.php?src=http://cartamagica.com/blogue/en/files/2012/12/abyss-rising-realm-of-the-sea-emperor.jpg&w=580&h=190&zc=1

Now here's where we get into big issues. You MUST upgrade TimTumb. Now. You're using a very old version and there are security holes. The latest version is here: http://timthumb.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/timthumb.php
