Also, the admin side has some problems with images showing as well.
For example, the Appearance theme images are not showing.

Your css which should be here, http://maniladestination.com/wp-content/themes/GeoPlaces/style.css is not.
GeoPlaces is a custom theme and as such is supported by the theme's developer, http://templatic.com/support/
