    Greetings All,

    I have been looking all over the forums and haven't had any success resolving my issue. When I open my site in Internet Explorer 8, or any other version of IE I have image buttons missing. It looks like it is happening in the sidebar and widget areas. They show up in firefox. I have validated the site, I do have 8 errors but have double checked them and can't seem to see the problem. Also some of the images not showing in the sidebar areas don't come up as errors either. Here is the site.

    Thanks in advance.

    you have a permalink issue...which may also affect other things.

    hover over the hello world on the left, and look at the bottom of your browser

    http://buyingahomeinnewjersey.com/http:/buyingahomeinnewjersey.com/uncategorized/hello-world

    is the link that comes up. It does this for various other locations on your site too.

    I'd start by resetting your permalinks (save to default...then back to custom....using a proper format)

    Once the permalink thing gets fixed, we can look further for underlying problems

    that is the url of your search button:
    http:///buyingahomeinnewjersey.com/wp-content/themes/universidad/search_homes_button.png
    there is maybe one / too many after the http: (?)

    same with the ballon photo;

    is there anything in your settings (dashboard - settings - miscellaneous) or in the general settings?

    I'm just wondering...how did you change the url of the web pages to a custom url? (as opposed to the strange numbers that come out if wordpress dos it for you)

    For example 'About Us' is http://buyingahomeinnewjersey.com/about
    how to do that?
