I have just uploaded a local wordpress site to a live server. Everything looked perfect at first but my friend confirmed the images were not loading. I worked out that it was still using the image files on my computer. So I fixed the header image (I am using a customised twentyten theme) by uploading using wordpress. But my navigation bar images are still not loading. I have uploaded them to the server and ammended the urls in styles.css but it’s still not loading them.

Any help would be greatly appiciated. Thanks in advance to any responses 🙂

Where are your nav bar images stored? In your theme’s images folder?

Thanks for the quick response. Yes the images are in the themes images folder. Here’s a link to the site http://templarexecs.com/ The nav bar should display a blue-white gradient.

Ahaa the image was at http://templarexecs.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/navbar.png not http://www.http://templarexecs.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/navbar.png

Hmm, there’s something funny going on with my domain names I’ll have to figure out. I should have ‘www.’ as well.

Instrad of:
```

```
try using:
```
#access {
    background-image: url(images/navbar.png);
    display: block;
    float: left;
    margin: 0 auto;
    width: 942px;
}
```

Thanks it’s all fixed now. The images were not in the images folder as I mentioned above but in the uploads folder. I should really create an assets folder for my site.
