Images not displaying in Media Library

    Hi everyone,

    I’m having a problem with Media Library and I have skimmed through the forum to find a similiar problem. When I upload an image into Media Library it doesn’t display the thumbnail nor the bigger version of the image when clicked. The image shows only when editing the image in Media Library but it doesn’t help anything.

    If I want to add an image to a post it doesn’t show up there either. Only a blank spot where the image should be.

    What could be wrong? I’m using theme “Substantial 2.0” and modified it a bit.

    P.S. I’m running WordPress version 3.0.1.

    Have you tried disabling your plugins? Problems I’ve had with images in the past can be pin pointed at plugins (or extra spaces in the theme’s functions.php)

    I’ve re-installed WordPress twice now and images aren’t working properly even without plugins. I’ll check out functions.php.

    I use the Finnish version of Wordpess 3.0 and always updated it to 3.0.1.

    Try deleting the functions.php (keep a copy though!). I guess the other thing would be to try the default theme and see if that solves it.

    @ilporyynanen Did you manage to fix your problem with images not displaying in the media library? I have the same problem when using multisite but only on the “subblogs”. Created a new thread to figure out what the problem could be:

    Though I’m not able to images even when I try to edit them. It always shows them as broken pictures (the image wasn’t found at provided location source).
