Hi guys, if anyone can shed any light on this I'd be really grateful!

I've talked to my theme creator about using the WordPress API and he has let me know that it does. I've also disabled all plugins to see if that would fix the issue but it still remains.

The issue is that I can't click the side links to go to the relevant screen on any browser and IE9 won't load images or the side button text on the Frontpage Slideshow. I've tried re-installing it but the same issues arise...

    The page is located here:

Any help would be very gratefully received!

I'm having almost the same issue as mrSparkle. When clicked, the side buttons will not go to their respective slides. The slideshow does work perfectly on the configuration page, however.

I'm using version 0.9.9.3.8 of Frontpage Slideshow. The site is http://www.elevatorworld.com/redesign

    Thanks for any help.

Unfortunately, that didn't do it. I removed all plugins that weren't necessary, and deactivated remaining plugins to try to find the culprit, but nothing seemed to work. I still can't click on sidebar buttons to go to the appropriate slide.

Once I reinstalled Frontpage-slideshow, the buttons started working again in Safari, Chrome and Firefox. However, in Internet Explorer, the buttons don't even show up.

Look at your error console : there still be an error ans IE is perturbated by javascript errors… try to shoot it

I got rid of the javascript error. It was caused by the Custom Contact Forms plugin. The buttons in the slideshow still don't show up in IE. The plugin works fine in the backend... just not on the home page.

I apologize... I'm not a programmer. Where else can I look to get the buttons to appear in IE?

After poring through the code in IE Developer Tools, I saw that the sidebar was highlighted far down the page. After some trial and error, I found that if I changed

clear: none !important in #fs-main UL to clear: right !important

the sidebar would show up in all browsers, including IE.

seems to be a side effect : all css are differents and having concistant css rules fo all website is a real chalenge, but as 99% of misfunctions are caused by javascript, the first step is to always shoot all js errors then try to understand what is goin on.

Another way to do is to specify width in px and not % (IE is very bad with %)
