Images not displaying after database import…

    The database import via phpMyAdmin had been successful for my blog at the same hosting provider and domain name. All of the posts are in the blog, however, most of the images are not displayed and shows an “X” with the defined alternate name of the image.

    The media library shows the name of the image, name of the post it is attached to; however, it also shows an “X”, instead of the preview of the image.

    The actual posting does have the correct URL for the image, that had been verified in the “blogsite/wp-content/uploads/%year%/%month%/” folder via FTP client.

    What’s puzzling is that some of the images, in older entries, do show up in the posts, while others, newer entries don’t.

    Does anyone have a suggestion for restoring the missing images in the posts?
