• Running the Journalist theme at http://www.birdphotographyblog.com, I’ve noticed that even though my images appear centered in the editing view, they are always left aligned once posted, or previewed prior to posting. I’m not sure what’s causing this; I don’t recall it being like this at first. Where should I start looking?

  • Hi Greg. This is a very nice theme that you have found. Ok, so I downloaded it and installed it on my blog and it does the same thing.

This only happens when you add caption text. So instead of adding caption text, just write the description of the image in the text editor below the image. Maybe use italic text instead.

Also, I tried looking in style.css and found wp-caption was already set to center, so that was weird. To me, it seems like it should already be center aligned. Either way, if you want my opinion, I think it looks better aligned to the left.

Did you try asking the theme designer? His full contact info can be found here: http://lucianmarin.com/page/about/

    Hope that helps.
