   Hi there,

   I am implementing an XML file from a third party site full of houses into a wordpress database, so that they will show up as posts.

   Everything works fine except for the images because i can't figure out how images (posts in posts table - type attachment) in the database are connected to posts.

   Can anyone explain me how they are connected/ where to look?

   If you mean the post thumbnail, it is stored in a post meta with meta key _thumbnail_id
