   I have a page with pictures of all of my teachers (17 of them). The images are JPEGs and have been uploaded to my gallery. For example .../wp-content/uploads/2010/07/IMG_5284-e1301341739256.jpg. Every time I do anything to this page, update words, add pictures, etc. I can see the changes in the Visual tab of the editor, but when I click Preview Changes or if I select Update, the page displays without any of the images on there. Sometimes it's taken over 24 hours to display, and only after I've hit Preview Changes many times. Anybody else having this issue?! It's been like this for months now. I'm going crazy; not wanting to touch this page once it's working. I don't get it though. I can never figure out why it doesn't work and then what actually makes it work. Any help??

   Check dashboard, settings, media, uploading files and make sure you have wp-content/uploads with no / in front of wp-content.

   Thanks. Don't you have to have / between wp-content and uploads?? It can't say "wp-contentuploads" can it?? I checked and under Miscellaneous Settings I see a field labeled "Store uploads in this folder"; in the textbox it says "wp-content/uploads", and the grey comment next to the textbox says "Default is wp-content/uploads". It seems like it's all set up correctly. I checked and the changes are still not showing on the site as of 24 hours later now. The page is completely blank (other than the style sheet header, etc.). GRRR!

   Yes you do.

   If you just go to this url, .../wp-content/uploads/2010/07/IMG_5284-e1301341739256.jpg can you see the photo? And what is your URL please.

   Yes, if I go to http://thegiftofkids.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/IMG_5284-e1301341739256.jpg I can see the pic. The website URL is http://www.thegiftofkids.net.

   Are you placing the images in exactly the same way you placed the kids photos?

   You are on edit page, click on insert an image, choose one from somewhere or the gallery, etc.?

   Preview Changes or if I select Update

   I don't have update - only preview and publish. Update is on the post editor. Are we on the same "page" :^)

   Yes, placed the images the same exact way. I don't have a Publish button, I have Preview Changes and an Update button in a box labeled Publish. I get to this Edit Page by doing the following:
   1) I log into wp-admin; I land on the Dashboard
   2) On the left side of the page are multiple sections (i.e. Posts, Media, Links, Pages...)
   3) I select Pages; Edit Pages displays
   4) I find the page I want to edit (in this case Meet the Teachers)
   5) I click on the name of the page & the Edit Page for this page displays
   6) I have tabs for Visual and HTML for editing
   7) I make changes using either (mostly HTML then back to Visual to see)
   8) I click Preview Changes found on the right side in the Publish box
   9) If I like the changes, I click Update at which point the site is updated.
   I think we're talking about the same page. Here's the thing. If there was a setting that was wrong I don't think the picture would ever display. The fact that they used to display tells me the settings are right, just that maybe the editor isn't updating the site correctly. It's just frustrating as heck though. Thanks for all your responses so far!

   Have you tried turning off all plugins by renaming the plugin folder and reverting to the twentyten theme? Then you go back to your theme and then add plugins back one-by-one until you find what is in conflict with the editor.

   BTW, bottom of page check spelling of preschool.

    I got it to work!!! Sheesh! It was just a <p> that wasn't closed. I have no idea how it worked before since I didn't change anything on this page except to move the pics next to each other in one row. AND, I thought the visual editor wouldn't display it if code was wrong??!! Plus, I had hit the button that says "close tags"...must not work! Anyway, now they all show...man! Thanks for all your advice!

    BTW, thanks for the spelling heads-up! :)

    bigboy1960 If you add to a thread that is resolved and a month old it is very unlikey you will receive assistance.

    Pls start your own thread, describing exactly what the problem is and read these before you start.
