Images in posts are not showing in the list

Hi! I am happy I found your plugin, it is very helpful. I am creating an artblog and I wanted to display my latest artwork (it is in a post) on my home page. The text is there but the image is not displayed. It is not a featured image, it is a normal image inserted into the post. Is it possible to somehow show this (or these if there are more in the post) image? (I have searched for a solution but only found info about the featured images.)
