• Hi all

Is there a way that uploaded images can be stored in folders?. Lets say i have 10 images of a brand called mull, then i want all the images to be stored in a folder i can call mull so i easily can find them.

This is really missing in WordPress.
    Thanks

  • Yes, I agree. I have a lot of photos for my site — and how can they be kept organized?

It also would be nice if photos could be batch uploaded through a ftp program. As far as I know, now, if one does this the photos are not recognized by WP.

this may help your second concern

Thank you RVoodoo for introducing me to this helpful plugin! I finally got around to using it.

It just would have been a little helpful if it came with some basic instructions on how to use it.

I would include directions like this:

Purpose of plugin: To be able to upload files to a Word Press blog via an ftp program and to enter them into the Media Library. (without this plugin, you could upload files with an ftp program — but they are not accessible to your blog)

    1. Upload and activate plugin

    2. Create a new folder inside the Contents folder of your blog (either through your File Manager of CPanel or through your ftp program) for your uploaded files.

    3. Upload files to this folder using an ftp program.

    4. Go to your ‘Add From Server’ plugin on your dashboard inside the Media Library and open this folder that you created.

    6. Select the desired files you want added to the Media Library and click on ‘Import’

    7. Now you should see these files in your blog library!

    Thanks again!
