   If I include my stock images/illustrations in a theme, such as for use in the admin area, those do not become GPL too, do they?

   Yes - unless you explicitly license them separately within the theme package.

   I'm glad I asked. What is an example of how you would disclaim the images as being separate from the theme's licensing, especially if its a distributable theme?
