   Hello,

   I'm totally new to blogging and WordPress but I just updated to version 3.0 and now the images in my site do not show. I have a video linked to youtube and a slide show but the rest of the blog images don't show, anyone have any idea what could cause this?

   Check your uploads path in Settings/Media.

   Navigate to Settings/Media in your Admin area and check what your uploads path has been set to. The default (usual) setting is /wp-content/uploads.

   The images are set to the path you showed. Any other ideas as to what's happening?

   It's htaccess related - the WP 3.0 upgrader doesn't correctly rewrite the htaccess file in the site root

   see - http://wordpress.org/support/topic/411383?replies=25 post by jlynch401 near the bottom - fixed the images issue for me on the home blog (now just need to get the sub-blogs content showing).
