• I’ve run into a problem uploading images to WordPress. For some reason, images which are uploaded have no owner set (owner=”nobody”, group=”nobody”) and aren’t resizing.

    I’ve only managed to get the images to upload by chmodding the uploads folder to 777 (which I’d rather not do, naturally) and no resized images appear once the uploader has finished. It gives no error messages in the process.

    My question is this: how can I set WordPress to use my login on the server? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

    When a file is uploaded on the server, by default it is uploaded with ownership nobody. You can not do anything to it.

    You must have to assign 777 permissions to the upload folder. There is not solution…

    Image resizing can be done using the HTML image properties while editing a post, or using the image option given by wordpress.
