• My site http://www.supplydynamics.net has been running beautifully for the past 6 months. A week or so ago I notices images missing on some but not all pages. Instead of the media there is just a little non-script avatar where the image should have been. I have deleted and re-insert the media files, which are all available in the media library, many times but no matter what I try I can’t get the images to display on my pages anymore.

Whilst I assume this may have been caused by an update of something or other I can’t work out which one it would be. word fence provided no clues.Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Keith

  • Have you tried deactivating your plugins to see if any are causing those problems?

Been deactivating over the past few days but no change. All new and bug subsequent images show up fine. Unless anyone can offer further feedback it looks like I’ll have to go through all 200+ images and delete and re-insert.

Have you cleared your caching plugin and then deactivated it?

Deactivated ALL plugins by changing the name on the plugins folder?

While they are off, switched to the default theme to rule out theme issues?

If that doesn’t solve it, can you post a link to a page where this is happening with all the plugins off and twentythirteen theme active?

After going through the suggested deactivation process for my site plugins it appears Jetpack or one of its widgets is playing a roll with the images not showing. Whilst I cannot 100% be sure, when Jetpack is deactivated images reappear on the problem pages.

The issue wasn’t affecting all pages or all images just a handful of each.

I will monitor over the next few weeks with Jetpack deactivated. Thanks for following this post WPyogi
