• Hello,

I’m just curious if this is happening to anyone else using this theme…
When ever I view the webpage on a cellular device, the pictures load and show up but then disappear. Oddly enough, this only appears to happen on a cell phone (everything works fine on a tablet and a computer)

I’ve tried disabling come plugins and have even turned off the responsive option and have had no luck with fixing the issue.

Any thoughts on what could be causing this? The website is http://www.gdcg.com

    Any help would be appreciated!

Try removing the responsive image logo in the theme options panel under General Settings -> Logo & Favicon Settings.

Your site is trying to find the retina ready version of the images (but none exist) which is why this is happening.

Thank you for responding! I’ve been struggling to fix this for a couple weeks now…

Unfortunately, I followed your suggestion and had no luck. The images still seem to disappear when viewed on my iPhone.

Is there any other solution you can think of? Also, is there a way to view the demo in it’s responsive form?

You have to remove the retina version of the logo on you site, the logo@2x file, under theme options > general settings

If you have a retina logo and you view your site on your iphone with retina display it will add @2x to all images on your site, and if you haven’t uploaded all images with both retina and “normal” resolution they will dissapear 🙁

I don’t think this is the best solution they have come up with, but anyway this is how it works.
