Images can not be shown in IE only, Chrome and Firefox is fine.

I am testing a new website, and I got a problem that my photos were successful uploaded to the server, and I can see them in the image uploader (popup window), but after I click ‘set as thumbnail’ or ‘insert to post’, I got a cross, which mean images can not be used Only in IE, they are correctly displayed in Chrome and Firefox.

I tried to re-upload for several times, I changed file permissions to 777 and changed the files, still not work for IE, neither IE6 nor IE8.

Can anyone help me, how can I fix this?

You can see everything working fine in Chrome and Firefox, but in IE, there is a missing image cross in the center of the home page.
