hi
Is there a plug-in that can automatically pick up new images and create individual posts from them? i run a photo blog and it's time consuming to create a new post for each image. if such a plug-in exists or if there is an alternative way to do this, i can save a lot of time.
here's the flow i dream about - > lightroom --> upload images to wordpress on my site --> plugin watches folder --> automatically creates a post for every new image --> publish the new post.

I wish I could have this too. I have an old-school site where all the content is in posts, and all my navigation is based on category structure. "Content" is artworks, one per post.
Now I want to add a section for my photography, but creating a new post for each image is a pain, I just want to upload a bunch of images, and have them manifest as individual posts in a particular category.
none of the photo plugins seem to do anything this *simple* just more complex things with fancy galleries and such...

After a lot of digging it seems a plugin for this once existed:

but appears long since gone...

Actually I found a beta ZIP of the latest version, it seems to work fine in WP 3.3.1:

Maybe if all those interested post on the authors site, it'll generate some new effort...
