Images are Stretched

    I updated to WP 3.5.2 and updated my theme. The theme owner recommended turning off TimThumb. However, now the integrity of my images is compromised. They’re all stretched. Can anyone recommend a plugin, etc. that works like TimThumb? I pay a lot of money for the photos and they complement the articles tremendously. I know HTML but like to refrain from editing CSS. If that’s the recommended route, please provide instructions.

    Why did they recommend disabling timthumb?

    It works well, as long as you are using the latest version there are no known security holes.
