Images are not proporional

After upgrading to 2.5 version of WP all images embedded in posts got screwed up. The thumbnails are fine, but clicking on an image brigs up another page with incorrectly resized image. BTW, portrait-size images are displayed OK, but landscape-size are stretched vertically. Anybody experience this problem except me? I use default theme.
