  • Hi Itzick,

    Please see this link: http://www.metaslider.com/documentation/image-cropping/

The next version of Meta Slider will let you disable cropping completely.

    Regards,
    Tom

This link doesn’t solve my cropping issue.
Meta Slider crops the top of my photos, while leaving unused space at the bottom of the slider area.

See the first slide (group photo) here:

    Thanks,

    Still having this problem…

On the Meta Slider dashboard page, it says that my image size is 1080 x 600, so that’s the size to which I cropped an image. However, the top and bottom are cropped when saved and viewed on the site.

    thanks,
    Patrick

    Hi Patrick,

Because the slides are all different sizes (and aspect ratio) you’ll never get them all to fit without cropping them. The gap appears because the slideshow will be as tall as the tallest image (the 3rd, 4th & 5th slide in your case).

Please set ‘Crop’ to ‘Smart’ in the advanced slideshow settings, this will take the largest area of each image it can, whilst maintaining the aspect ratio of the size you’ve set in the slideshow settings.

    Regards,
    Tom
