Images appear too large after upgrading to 3.0.1 (8 posts)

    I just upgraded to wordpress 3.0.1.
    Suddenly many of my images on my blog, when viewed on the internet, became supersized, and others became a little larger, and some stayed their original size.
    My images are the proper size when I go to work on my blog postings in wordpress, but when I open my blog on the internet, the images are distorted. They were perfect until I upgraded. Has anyone had this problem, and how did you fix it?
    Thanks.

    I re-upgraded to 3.0.1; I also upgraded the theme; I also deleted an image from the post and then replaced the image. The problem remains. Some images will only appear as full size in the post when viewing the post on the internet. But when viewed in wordpress, it appears as the correct size. Has anyone else had this problem?

    I cleared my cache and cookies. Nothing changed. I re-installed 3.0.1, no change. I deactivated all of my plugins, but that make my blog go blank. What should I try next?

    My bog is TheNurseEducator.com/. The images are appearing full size, not the smaller size that I want them to appear as in the blog. Thanks.

    Viewing the source of a page, we can see the classes attached to images.

    <a href="http://thenurseeducator.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/cover_front_nursing_career.jpg">
    <img class="alignright size-full wp-image-1080"
    title="10 Keys to Nursing Career Success"
    src="http://thenurseeducator.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/cover_front_nursing_career.jpg"
    alt="10 Keys to Nursing Career Success"
    width="355" height="554" />

    It looks like the images have been inserted with the full size option selected rather than thumbnail or medium. If you try including it again and select one of the other sizes you should get the smaller version.

    Thank you cubecolour. Your solution has worked. I can no longer resize the images after they are placed in the post. Resizing an image in the post has no effect on the way it is seen on the internet. But I can edit the image's size in the media section, and then insert it again, and it then appears as the proper size on the internet. Thank you very much.
