Images and some formattings get lost after some time

Your plugin works fine, I can add images and complex formatting to the bio. Great idea, thanks!
However there’s one problem with my wordpress installation: From time to time, after some hours oder days, most, but not all formatting gets lost. For example if I use some bold text, some text with yellow background color and add an image to the bio, everything seems to be fine: I can save the bio and the author page is displayed correctly afterwards. But, after some time, the bio changes: While the bold text is still bold, the image has been dropped and the background color is reset to the default background. It seems like only simple formatting options are kept in place while more complex ones get dropped.
Any Idea what’s causing this ‘black magic’? I’ve tried a lot, but I’m yet unable to reproduce this issue manually.
