images and gallery question…

    OK… as of right now, if i have a thumbnail linked to the larger image it goes to a page with just the larger image. I would like to be able to make it so that it automatically creates a page, with my them/layout on it and just the image, maybe even a next and previous link on there too…without having to create pages for each image and so on… i’m assuming that some sort of template is needed for this, just don’t know how to make this happen on its own… i’ve looked through the gallery plugins that there are, and there just aren’t any real good ones that give you that professional look while being easily customizable…

    any help for this?

    If you have Flickr images then FAlbum really is the way to go. Check out my gallery to see it in action.

    yeah… i’m not a fan of Flickr cause of the limitations. I have lots of pictures and it wouldn’t take long for me to go through the 20mb allowed each month… i have plenty or storage and bandwidth on my server and would rather go that route…

    I can see how i want things for it to be in my head…lol…and it seems easy, i just can’t figure it out…

    OK…i’ve done some looking around and i think what i am looking for is to use javascript to replace an image. They say its real easy. I found one small script to do this…i tried it…everything looks right, it just won’t replace the image…

    does anyone know how to do this?

    after reading some more…i’ve realized that using javascript isn’t the way to go cause many people disable it…

    I would still like to at least make it so that when you click on the thumbnail it goes to the original image, just not on a blank page…

    OK…lol…through a combination of adding things to my stylesheet, making a template and using an iframe, i got it…

    yeah yeah yeah…lol…i’ve heard that…

    but, it was the easiest and only way i could figure out how to make it do this… if anyone knows of another easy way to do the same thing, please let me know.
