• Hi, love your theme, especially the blue-gray color scheme. I have a couple of questions here with my first blog.

    In the thumbnail photo of the Current theme, there are 3 pictures that appear above the 3 blog posts. I am unable to get any photos to appear on the main page above my posts. I have uploaded a png file to media library, and attached it to a post. It does not appear above the post on the main page. I only see a gray box above the post. Am I doing something wrong?

    I have a second question about posting an image to the header without the displaying the phone/tablet image border. Phone and tablets don’t fit with my blog topic, but I still love the layout and color of Current. Is there a way to have an image posted to the header but without the phone/tablet wrapper?

    Thanks

  • Hi statsdude

    I will answer the first question as I don’t know what the second question is referring to. I am not sure you have added the image to the post and it definitely doesn’t look like you have added the image as a featured image hence why it is fetching the featured image – please add it as featured image and see if it works.

    Hi salsaturation, that was it. Many thanks for answering the newbie question.

    The other question relates to the image in the header that shows my 3-bar graph that I uploaded, that gets posted inside the frame of a smartphone. This frame is part of the Theme and wanted to see if I could post the image without the smartphone frame appearing. This is probably a question for Greg the Theme owner.

    Glad to help

    ok add this to you custom.css (not style.css as you will loose the customisation when you upgrade the theme).

    #page-header .image-frame-wrapper .image-frame.image-frame-phone {
    background: none;
    }
