   I've read the sticky thread and done the steps. No luck.

   It started immediately after the 2.8 update. I hit the button, and nothing happens.

   What can I do?

   get a nightly build of wordpress, may be it could help you.

   So, the regular version of 2.8 does break this? With no fix? Jeez, I guess that's what I get for blindly trusting a new version.

   If you're using Firefox and have Google Gears installed, deactivate/delete this add-on. It's not compatible with Firefox 3 and can cause problems in WordPress.

   Still having this issue.

   I have separate WP installations running on different domains on the same server. All current version. Only one is giving me the trouble, but nothing differently has been done.

   Is there a solution?
