• Hi there,

I have WordPress 3.7.1 installed and when I upload a image with Image Uploader the image keeps crunching but then it’s stuck.

When I click on Media -> Library the image is perfectly uploaded but I get also a error when I want to add a image in a page. All the folders are good with CHMOD, because it’s uploading but keep crunching.

Can someone help me with this? Also tried with all the plugins deactivated but than still have the issue. It’s from 3.7.1 that I get these errors.

    Thanks for helping!
    Kind Regards,

    Michael

  • Most likely you are having a conflicting plugin. In my case it’s “Debug My Plugin“.

You can try disabling all the plugins and see if you are still stuck with crunching. If you are, it means the culprit is indeed the plugin. You can then activate the plugins one by one and find the bogus one.

    Good luck!

I’ve been having the same problem. I tried disabling the plugins and all the different php.ini and .htaccess tricks. Eventually I tried making the image smaller. I shurnk the width down to 1400 px. That seemed to be the magic number for me.

I know that this is not a reasonable solution but it at least got the image loaded. I would still like a better fix and will keep searching the forums.
