WP Installation, Image Uploader and internationalized domain names (IDN)

    Well, I have a internationalized domain name that contains an Ü.

    WP does run so far, but I have some issues with it.

    At installation I had to use the ASCII representation of my domain to get it running. Because WP doesn’t seem to convert my IDN with the ToAscii-Algorithm, but simply normalizes it by stripping all umlauts.

    The flash image uploader doesn’t work, because I get an security error. I guess the same conversion issue, so that the domain names don’t match.

    The browser imager uploader works, but I have to manually include the image into the post, because “Insert into Post”-Button just blanks out the image manager.

    Is there a quick fix, especially for the last problem?
    And when will the general IDN-Problem be fixed?
