Since few days back when i tried to insert images using image uploader, if the page is loading then it opens in new window or if page loaded then loader window is displayed beneath the page and half displaying.
I tried few things like deleting the cache n all nothing worked for me.

Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.
If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Default theme (WordPress 1.5 - 2.9.2) or the Twenty Ten theme (WordPress 3.0 and higher) to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme function can affect the admin panel).

I tried both the options but in vein!!! :(
Try downloading WordPress again and delete then replace your copies of everything except the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory with fresh copies from the download.
